Fig, Parmesan and Pecan Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of pecan pieces
  • 2/3 cup finely grated parmesan
  • 4 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 fillets of porc cut into 2 equal pieces
  • 1 cup dried figs (Calimyrna or Mission), finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar well compacted

Instructions

  • Chop the pecans finely with the Power Chef.
  • Use the Master Grater to grate the Parmesan.
  • Add the parmesan to the nuts and mix.
  • Mix the mustard and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  • Dip the fillets of pork in the mixture and place them in the lid of the Lasagne UltraPro.
  • Cover the fillets with the chopped pecans, pressing them in place to ensure they stick.
  • Cook in the oven, preheated to 400°F (200°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Leave to stand 15 minutes with the Lasagne Dish on top..
  • Remove the stalk of the figs
  • Mix the Marsala wine, the orange juice, the figs and the brown sugar together in the Micro-pitcher.
  • Mix well and cook in the microwave with the cover for 5 – 7 minutes. Leave to cool for a few minutes.
  • Reduce the sauce to the texture of a smooth purée in 2 lots, with the Power Chef.
  • Cut the pork into slices. Serve with rice and sauce.
