Ingredients
- 1 can sweet potatoes (485g)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter cut up
- ½ tsp ground cinamon
- dash ground clove
- 1 tsp orange zest optional
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Drain sweet potatoes, reserving ¼ cup syrup. In mixing bowl, mash potatoes with reserved syrup. Stir in brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, cloves and, if desired, orange zest. Spread mixture evenly in the 3-Qt./3 L Casserole. Stack and cook. Sprinkle with pecans before serving.
- May be cooked separately, covered, on high power 4–6 minutes or until mixture is heated through. Sprinkle with nuts before serving.
