Ingredients
Cake
- 1 package devil’s food cake mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 can cherry pie filling (680g)
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2 tbsp butter melted
Icing
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- ½ tbsp cocoa powder
- 1½ tbsp granulated sugar
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Cake
- In a medium bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, cherry pie filling and almond extract. Grease 3-Qt/3L Casserole and Cone with melted butter. Pour in batter. Microwave at 70% oiwer 15 minutes. Remove from microwave.
Glaze
- To create a glaze, place remaining ingrédients inCover and microwave on high power 1 minute. Stir and set aside.
- Allow cake to cool completely. Move cake to a platter before poring glaze over cake
